Precision Turf was contracted to construct a base for a Terrasoft™ synthetic football field at Etowah High School in Woodstock, Georgia. The project was fast tracked to be ready for the upcoming football season. This project involved removing 1500 cubic yards of material, installing concrete curbing around the track, installing sub-surface drainage, stone base, and new goal posts. The field was finished and ready for play on the opening football date.

The project involved removing almost 1500 cubic yards of existing material, installing concrete curbing around the track, installing sub-surface drainage, stone base, and new goal posts. As a part of the project, a new score board with a big screen display was installed on the field as well as new fencing, and landscaping. The project created a field that can withstand daily use for various sports under all weather conditions.

Precision Turf was contracted to reconstruct the sideline area at Dowdy-Ficklin Stadium at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. The project included removing the existing turf on the sidelines, adding root zone material, installing new drain inlets, sub-surface drainage, laser grading, and sod installation. The purpose of the project was to create a safer and better draining side line area.
Precision Turf completed the athletic complex at The Weber School in Atlanta, Georgia, which consists of a natural turf baseball field and soccer field. The project was part of a new campus construction. The field construction encompassed amending the native soil, installing sub-surface as well as surface drainage structures, ACO channel drain, laser grading, and sod installation. Precision Turf continues to provide annual maintenance services for these fields.
Precision Turf was contracted by Georgia Tech for the renovation of Grant Field at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Work commenced on May 8, 2006 and the final piece of Tiftsport Bermudagrass was installed on May 25. The field debuted as the primetime ABC game on September 2, 2005 as Georgia Tech battled the University of Notre Dame.

The South Campus Athletic Complex at Holy Innocents Episcopal School was awarded the 2005 Atlanta Business Chronicle award for Design-Bid-Build project under $5 million. Precision Turf, LLC was responsible for constructing the two sand based playing fields at the south campus.
The two member managers of Precision Turf, LLC, Jonathan Holland and Eric Holland, successfully completed the proper requirements to become Certified Sports Field Managers (CSFM). The CSFM program, administered by the Sports Turf Mangers Association, combines ones experience and education within the field in order to qualify to take the certification exam. The certification exam requires the knowledge of Agronomics, Pest Management, Administration, and Sports Specific. This distinctive Certification places the two member managers in a select group of only 70 individuals across the United States.
Precision Turf was contracted by Richland School district 1 in Columbia, South Carolina to re-construct the playing field for Dreher High School. This field had been constructed over the summer of 2005 by another contractor, but was determined to be unsafe and unplayable for the upcoming season. Re-construction began on December 14, 2005 and the field was completed on January 16, 2005. A successful grow-in followed and the field was ready for play for the upcoming season.

Precision Turf, LLC was recently contracted by the University of Virginia for field supervision and other necessary operations for the Rolling Stones concert on October 6, 2005. We were responsible for assuring no damage occurred to the playing field from concert set-up and load out in preparation for the University of Virginia vs. Florida State University football game on October 15, 2005. Stage construction began on October 2 and remained on the playing field until the final piece was removed on October 8. The playing surface survived without any areas requiring replacement of sod. The dedicated efforts of the entire UVA staff, stage crew & hands, and Precision Turf, LLC allowed the concert and the survival of the field to be a success.
